Many men and women continually exercise to build the healthiest, leanest body that they can. Unfortunately, this can lead to over-training which in turn leads to progress stagnation, injuries or both.

Also the opposite is true, the easier your workout the shorter your recovery time.

If you choose to train again before your body has adequately recovered, you stand a chance of getting injured, over-training, or both. Either of these can cancel out weeks of progress as you wait until you fully recover before training again.

When you are just starting an exercise program, pay attention to how your body feels. If your body is still sore from a previous workout, listen to your body and decrease your exercise frequency by taking an extra day or two off before exercising again. If your body feels good then you can continue with your workout plan. Only this time, slightly increase the resistance or pace of your workout. One more tip before I go. An even better way to use cold water for weight loss is to take a cold shower. Since the water isn't limited to your feet and lower legs, you get a more aggressive reaction from the body. You can simply take your normal shower and then at the end you turn the water to very cold and let it run over your body for 15 seconds.

Trust me, 15 seconds is all you will need. You'll have a hard time breathing because it's such a shock to the body. But since most people can't handle a cold shower for even 15 seconds, the next best thing is cold water treading.

You'll notice a dramatic increase in your energy levels with cold showers and cold water treading. You should also notice some weight loss after 5-8 days. So take this weight loss "trick" and prove it to yourself.

A KILLER Total Body Workout You Can Do At Home In 7 Minutes Using Just Your Body Weight!

Alright, the first thing you want to do prior to doing this workout (or ANY workout for that matter) is to warm up. I recommend that you do active warm up routines. What I mean by that is moving your arms and legs around, loosening up your neck and other areas of your body, etc. When you are done your workout, make sure you stretch your entire body.

Okay, here is an awesome total body workout you can do using just your body weight:

Estimated Time To Finish: 7 minutes.

Things You'll Need: A sweat towel... trust me!

The Workouts: Burpees, running in place with high knees, and sumo squats.

Rest Time In Between Each Round: 30 seconds.

The Workout Step-By-Step:

1. Run in place with your knees high for 30 seconds. Try to go as quickly as you can and make sure you get your knees up as high as possible.

2. Immediately following the above, do 10 sumo squats. To do a sumo squat, you move your feet a little farther than shoulder width apart, point your feet outwards, and squat (make sure your knees do not go past your toes when squatting).

3. After that, squat down and put your hands on the floor shoulder width apart, then spring your legs back to get into a push-up position. While in the push-up position, do a push-up, then jump your legs forward back to a squatting position, and then jump up straight with your hands raised up in the air. You've just completed one burpee.

*Do all 3 steps above for 5 rounds and rest for 30 seconds in between each round.*
